letzten Dienstag ging es mit dem Bus von San Gil nach Zipaquirá. Was für eine sch....öne Fahrt das war!! 6 Stunden lang ging es mit einem Kleinbus auf den hintersten 2 Plätzen über Berg und Tal. Das war bisher die anstrengenste Fahrt, weil der Bus einfach keinen Komfort zu bieten hatte und das ist für die Dauer echt unangenehm. Aber geschafft haben wir's trotzdem ;)
Am nächsten Tag haben wir uns die Salzkathedrale angeschaut, was auch der Grund für unseren Stop in Zipaquirá war. Denn sonst hat der Ort nicht viel zu bieten./

so last Tuesday we drove from San Gil to Zipaquirá. And what a "nice" ride it was: 6 hours in a small bus seated in the last row through mountains and valleys. This was by far the most exhausting bus ride what we've had until now, as the bus didn't offer any comfort which at that duration makes it really uncomfortable. But we made it :)
The next day we visited the underground salt cathedral of Zipaquirá, which was the main reason for us being here. As otherwise there isn't much to see here for a tourist.

Eigentlich wollten wir danach mit dem Bus nach Neiva fahren um in der Desierto de Tatacoa (Tatacoa Wüste) zu übernachten. Nachdem uns aber auch einen Kolumbianierin davon abgeraten hat mit dem Bus zu fahren, da die Strecke wohl auch wieder sehr kurvenreich ist und ewig dauert, wollten wir fliegen. Wir haben zwar auch einen günstigen Flug gefunden, allerdings hat die Fluggesellschaft unsere Passnummern oder Kreditkarte nicht akzeptiert...
Also gab's ne Planänderung. Wir sind für 3 Tage in die Hauptstadt, nach Bogota. Und hier haben wir in einer Agentur der Fluggesellschaft die Flüge für Sonntag gebucht.
In Bogota haben wir an einer Graffiti Tour durch den Stadtteil La Candelaria teilgenommen, waren im Gold- und Botero Museum./
Initially we wanted to travel then directly to Neiva and go visit the Desierto de Tatacoa (Tatacoa desert). After being told by a Colombian not to take the bus, since the route would again have thousands of tight curves and would apparently go on forever, we wanted to look for a flight instead. Unfortunately after finding a suitable and a cheap one, the airline's booking system didn't approve our passport numbers or credit card...
So we made a change of plans, and decided to go to Bogotá, the capital, for 3 days. The first thing we did there was to look for an airline office and book tickets for a flight on Sunday.
In Bogotá we made a graffiti tour through the borough of La Candelaria, and visited the Gold Museum as well as the Botero museum.
